Perfect fit, exactly the same as original part. Note though that there are two different regulators that fit a 2000 model year, one being UP TO 03-09-2000 and the other is FROM 03-09-2000. So to ensure correct part my advise is to remove the old defective regulator and compare with the pictures of what you'll be ordering. Compare the motor/cable drive assembly (the middle section of the regulator) with the pictures. They should look very similar or identical. Pay extra attention on the bolts.

Good quality replacement part, but NOTE: there are two holes that mount the window track to the door that are NOT trapped like the OEM part. Instead of being able to simply re-use the original bolts (because the holes are both too small and not tapped), I had to drill out the hole to a larger size and use a nut on the inner side to ensure proper fit. Not a huge deal, really, but know you may have to drill and tap or just drill and find nut that fits the original hardware. FYI, the holes that aren't tapped are the mounting points that use a black bolt originally.Besides that, the part looks, fits, and functions like the original part.

This window regulator w/motor bolted right in and works perfectly (slightly faster than my driver side that wasn't replaced). My jeep was manufactured prior to March 2000, therefore ordered this window regulator for the front passenger window. The regulator includes its own bolts and a six pack of door panel clips. Two bolt holes were not tapped but it wasn't a problem, the window goes up and down fine without them. Also, in contrast to the Amazon product picture, the plate/bracket that attaches to the window is plastic.I found instructions on the autozone website and they made the installation a breeze (with pictures).
