It's sad that when something is as described, that it requires praise.

Great price for a great quality replacement that works and fits perfectly. Mine included the 10mm nuts that others didn’t receive. Maybe Dorman has started to include them. See picture.Easy to change. Highly recommended.

The product is of good quality, as with all aftermarket products the plastic clips just don't seem durable enough. All in all it was a perfect fit for a 06 escape and the long tail from the motor just clips into the harness making a very easy 20 minute install.

Install was a snap,my 2007 escape had 3 -10mm bolts on the regulator to door. This unit has 3-10mm studs so you need to supply 3-10mm nuts to make it work.Other than that alls good

So, the drivers door power window goes up and down just fine on my 2005 Ford Escape, except...When doing 70 on the highway and the window is down about halfway and you go to raise it, it gets very slow as it nears the top and you could hear wind whistling too. This has been going on for several months now and only does it at highway speed. Sitting still it goes up just fine. A few months back I noticed after it doing it again, when I stopped at a gas station the glass on the rear part of the door was OUTSIDE the seal/track that it rides in! I put the window and back up again and it stays in the track as it should. I took the door panel and inspected the drive, the track that it rides on, made sure everything was tight and I could find no problem. It continued to do this, so much that I automatically put the window all the way up when getting on the highway, which is not good as I love riding windows down. I finally decided this is nobway to live and ordered the Dorman part. Got it installed (make sure you swing by the hardware store and buy the 3 extra 10MM nuts to mount the motor assy to door) and like magic, I no longer have this problem, works perfectly no matter how fast I go and does not leak when it is raining.Still not sure exactly what was wrong with the OG, must have been worn out letting the glass tilt forward when air pressure was on it.Anyway, if you are fighting power window issues, get it!

I just installed this unit today on my 2005 Ford Escape because the window was starting to stick in the closed position. Once I got this installed I tried the window and it raises and lowers just like it should.I will caution you that the Dorman part is a little different from the factory part in that it requires 3 nuts to secure the regulator to the frame where the factory part uses 3 bolts so you will need to have them on hand when you install this part It also has a power cable rather than an integral plug on the regulator so you have to be cautious about where you route it to keep it out of the mechanism and from getting between the regulator and the door frame during mounting. This is the second Dorman power window regulator I've used to replace my factory units and the next time I need one I will not hesitate to get another Dorman part.

I have a Ford 2006 Escape, this unit fit perfectly, the power connector is slightly different, otherwise less than an hour to replace
