Perfect for for my 1999 K2500 Chevy rear driver window. Pay attention to the spring before you drill out the last bolt on the original, it will fall off once motor is free. Pretty straightforward once I got the spring pointed correctly

I learned this motor gear assembly would bolt right on to my Lippert Solera power awning on my travel trailer. I've gone through two Lippert motor gear drive assemblies in 4 years. Decided to give this a try. While it doesn't have the provision to crank the awning in manually it does give me confidence I'll never have to do that. It drives the awning out and back in with a little more speed and does not sound like it is about to give up the ghost in the next revolution. Great product in non-intended use.

I bought this to replace a dead motor on my Solara power travel trailer awning based on another rv owners recommendation. It's a perfect one for one fit and is identical except for the manual overide feature that allows manual retract /extend. At half the price, I'll take the chance that it will last. It came with 3 plug type options that you'll have to pick one, and splice on the power input wire to. I added about 6" of 14 gauge wire and with some wire nuts I was done in 30 minutes, but I'm slow. Make sure you maintain the positive and negative connections, not catastrophic, but when you push the rocker switch to extend / retract the awning will do the opposite. Very happy. I saved the old failed oem motor so if the new one fails, I can swap back to use the manual overide.

As per a reviewer in another RV forum, I put this motor in a Carefree Eclipse awning where the motor had failed and it fits perfectly. Ran the awning a couple of times in and out and so far it looks like it'll do the job, and all this at a fraction of the price of the RV dealerships. Dealer wanted almost $400 CDN for the motor alone, not to mention their $200/hr shop rate...this one was about $50 and was easily replaced in 15 minutes. There are a lot of Carefree awnings out there...don't fall for their high prices...many other purpose motors may fit these units.

1995 Saturn SL2 sedan, driver side- Seems like it's a fine motor but does not fit the application it was needed for despite what Amazon's Parts Finder said. Motor bolts up as expected but the gear does not fit with the stock regulator. If you need an old Saturn motor, find a junkyard or order the ACI 82245 window motor.

I had a great experience with Amazon on my recent Dorman 742-141 order. Purchased for my passenger door window on my Pontiac Grand Prix, it was delivered when promised and worked like a charm. This unit comes with all necessary hardware so doing any re-rivet job isn't necessary. The instructions are ample but not adequate for the entire replacement job however the instructions DO contain the MUST KNOW ABOUT warning related to locking the regulator spring prior to removing the motor. Drilling the 7 rivets wasn't much of a treat but using the hardware they sent with the motor w/some bolt grade locktite made reassembly a breeze. A huge thanks to both, Amazon AND Dorman for helping to get me out of a jam with this issue.
