I installed both the driver and passenger side motors and had no issues. A couple weeks later the passenger side got stuck halfway down and wouldn’t go up. After weeks of testing the window I found it would get stuck if rolled all the way down.Works okay, installing is easy, don’t know why driver side works and passenger doesn’t…

Window motor works great once you figure out how to align holes to mount . Also the wiring pigtail is different. Had to cut old one off and splice to new motor.

"Amazon confirmed fit" say's it will not my 1998 Ford F150. And yet, in the Product Description it lists all the F150 Heritage body style years. This window motor, Dorman 742-273 fits and functions perfectly... As does the opposite door unit model 742-272.

Had replaced motors before with re manufactured units. That is the reason for replacing again with these motors. These are working like the day I bought my truck brand new. I can highly recommend these as replacements. You won’t be sorry you did. Has different plugins for most applications. And new screws that you will need. Great value!

I bought this to replace the passenger side front widow motor in my 2000 Ford Expedition. The job took about 35 minutes from start to finish. The motor is an exact fit and works great! It actually seems better built and more heavy duty then the original motor. It works very smooth and quiet. There was VERY limited instructions in the box, but there are a number of very good sources online that can guide you through the job. You will need a Phillips screw driver, small Torx driver set, 1/4" drive socket set, 1/2" drill bit and drill motor.
