Relatively easy to install and appears to work as advertised. I would have given it 5 stars but the instructions were pretty vague (you should thank your competitor for a thorough video that helped a lot with removal/installation), and their failure to include about $1 worth of required hardware made it more difficult and time consuming than it had to be. Overall satisfied.

I tried 2 of these regulators in my Ford Fusion. Both worked about 10 times before they failed. I returned them and purchased an OEM regulator and it performs great.

My friend freaked out when he went to roll up the rear window in his 2006 Ford Fusion, and only heard a loud "Kerchunk!" as the window went all the way down. I watched a few YouTube videos, and told him that he could either take the car to the dealer and have it replaced for around $700, or buy this Dorman 749-548 Rear Driver Window Regulator for about $40, and help me to replace it. The new regulator is sturdy and looks exactly like the original. The hardest part of the replacement was drilling out the three aluminum rivets that held the old regulator to the door frame. Installing this new regulator was easy once I located a set of three short bolts and nuts (NOT INCLUDED) to replace the rivets. This was my first Fusion regulator replacement job and it took me about 3 hours to complete, due to a comedy of errors. You could probably do it much faster! I am a happy camper, and my friend is even happier since he saved a LOT of money over taking it to a dealer for repair!

This product fit exactly as a replacement, and it works perfectly. I would rated five stars except that it did not come with nuts and bolts to attach it to the metal panel. The original part was fastened with rivets which have to be cut or broken to get the old port off. This means a surprise trip to the hardware store for nuts and bolts This product fit exactly as a replacement, and it works perfectly. I ordered this part to fix my grandmother’s back window on her 2006 Ford Fusion. It was the perfect fit and took maybe 45 minutes to install at the most. Fixed the problem perfectly. Very satisfied.

This is the second time I have had to replace a window driver in a Ford Fusion. The first time I paid the stealership for the part and of course while it was not super fun to put in (requires drilling a few 3 rivets and re attaching them) it went in fine and of course fit well. When the SECOND window fell and needed replacement I went "TO THE AMAZON" (insert superhero announcer voice here) found this OE solutions product that fit. I ordered it and the part arrived in great condition ready to install. I did the required drilling of the 3 rivets and attached the new track and cable system. worked great and was less $$ than the dealer. Overall great product. It is important to note that this unit DOES NOT come with the motor, only the track slide and cable system. Your existing motor will be unscrewed and attached to this track system (easy). Most of the time when the window falls its not because of the motor but because a part of the slide or cable system failed.Pros:Ok priceGood qualityworked with factory Equipment (motor and door) with 0 issuesCons:None really.

Worked great, and the best part was that it was offered through Amazon Prime, so I got the item in 2 days. The only drawback complaint I would have is that when removing the door panels, it was discovered that the original regulator was attached to the panel with rivets. Since the original part was already broken, we just broke the piece off the panel, drilled out the rivets to make new holes, and utilized 3 new screws to attach the new part. The Regulator did not come with screws, so purchase is necessary. Overall...good product and satisfied!
