Ordered this. Fit the car. But the wiring and harnesses to the gear came out right away. Not sure if this is meant to do this? Anyways. Once connected the wiring just busted out of the sprocket. Looked fine when I installed but stopped working as soon as I hit the power button. Would not recommend.

Installed this product, rolled down window once and it broke. I have installed several regulators on Audis in the past with no issues, I do not recommend this item with the amount of work it takes to disassemble the door

This unit lasted for four months. Apparently, Dorman's warrantee is only 45 days. I had an ASE certified mechanic install it. It now makes the same grinding sounds as the first OEM one, and the window will not go up without pulling with two hands, or stay there once i manage to get it there. The factory original one lasted 9 years. My regret is that I did not learn how short a lifespan this would have until after I had also bought a Dorman regulator for the passenger window. Do not buy this product. You will waste your money, and have to pay twice to have your window repaired.

Only lasted 3 weeks before failing. Have now installed an Audi part which was not that much more expensive. Hoping it will last for a longer time.
