Nothing super cool or fancy here, but works as intended, looks exactly like the original, and fits fine after removing the excess clue around the edges and seal. Without removing that extra glue, it wouldn't seat properly in the opening on the car. It's clear from the picture, but this requires solder or crimp connections as it's not a plug-in item. You should be able to replace it on a 2008 Cadillac CTS my simply using a small screwdriver to pop off the old one, pull out some excess wire, solder on the new (wire colors match the original), remove excess glue, and pop back in. Note -- on the CTS, the button only works if the key is near the rear bumper. It's doesn't work just because the car is "unlocked" like other cars I've experienced.

Item was not an exact fit, when I try to use it it falls out of the opening, and water is still getting into the trunk
