This switch fits perfectly with no gaps. It comes with hear shrink cromp connectors already crimped to the switch side wires. Of course it does not come with a direct clip in plug since the wiring ties into the license plate lights. The switch requires a lot more force to push the button compared to factory which 8 like.

Install was easy. Works as well as the original...which is just OK. There's a relatively small area on the button that actuates the trunk latch.

This is a perfect solution if you find your key fob works, but your trunk button by the license plate doesn't (If both aren't working, check your fuses first). I purchased this for my 2013 Chevy Cruze LT. After completing the replacement (which you can do in around 20-40 minutes with the right tools. I can offer the following review points:PROS:- The packaging was in good condition, and the part is new- There's enough wire to replace the connectors (unless you have connector to put on the other end, you'll have do this - I think most people don't).- PERFECT fit as a replacement - snaps right in!- Switch appears solid (well-built)- Rubber/Plastic Housing is goodCONS:- There's no instructions in the box (There's literally nothing but the part)- Doesn't address the root cause of the failure (The reason they go bad is because Chevy got cheap and didn't insulate this area, so water and condensation gets in) I would've liked to see a better seal.TIPS:- Get a body panel toolkit It's like $7 and saves your paint from scratches when you install this.- When pulling the liner pins IT'S A 2 STEP PROCESS - Sorry for the caps, but I missed this. Don't pry the entire plug out at once, there's a inner pin to lift first. Look/feel around the pin for a small notch where you can get under the pin, and pull it out. Then pull the rest of the pin out.Otherwise, Outstanding product.
