The plastic body was broke where the metal clip is inserted so I had to wrap tape on it. The new switch did not fix the problem so spent hours trying to troubleshoot why it comes on by itself. Finally had to take truck to my dealer. After $320 the mechanic had to update all the codes for the seat heater switch. So far all is working OK. The installation notes could suggest that the codes be updated for proper operation.Tanx for asking.......K

This is a high quality product and it looks like it's eliminated with an LED because it's much brighter than all the other switches in the vehicle at night and easier to see.

Works like it should for a factory replacement. Only downside is the light in it is so bright compared to the rest of my interior lights that I have to dim it down.

Part was same size direct fit with no difficulty in installing. Door panel did have to be removed though.
