While I’m sure the product works great on the right vehicle, please be aware that this does not fit a 2012 Kia Rio Ex with the backup camera. You need a different part, otherwise your camera will not be connected.Amazon seems to think this will fit all Kia Rios, but that is not correct.

I have a 2012 Kia Rio hatch back. This is compatible, but the plug does not have the pins to support the rear camera (there may be another part with that feature). I was able to splice the old cable (which has a splitter for the camera and button) with the new button, but it required cutting the wire. It works fine, but I did notice that the ware gauge is significantly less with this product. It's not a big deal, but it is cheaper made than the official part.

This was to replace a broken boot latch on my Kia Rio hatch. Perfect replacement part, easy to fit in 40 minutes with the help of YouTube video by me as a real non- DIY man.It was fascinating to track its progress from New Jersey USA to Hastings U.K.! Arrived ahead of stated time Very impressed with the whole service …definite 5 stars!

This will probably be your easiest "car fix" you'll ever do next to replacing your air filter. If you're unsure, just YouTube it and you'll find someone to walk you through it. Don't even have to be a car guy, but you do have to have some DIY intuition.

The switch itself seats perfectly where the old one was, but because I have the backup camera I could not use the provided harness. Just clip the red/green wires to give lots of wire and soldered it into the existing harness. Works great now. I will be more careful not to lift the hatch by the button and strip the rubber off this time.

When purchasing it was stated that this part does not fit the 2014 Rio. The part looked identical so I ordered it. Easy to install and an exact fit in the 2014 Kia Rio

This was exactly what I was wanting. It was a 10 minute installation, fit perfect and works perfect. Also from my research, the price was on the lower end of the ones I looked at..

Switch was a perfect fit for my 2012 Kia Rio. Installation was easier than I thought it would be. I just followed along with a youtube video & was done in less than 25 min. And now I can open my hatchback again. I hope this one is built better than the original switch.
