When an EGT sensor bung rusts, the typical solution has been to replace the entire exhaust pipe. This Dorman OE FIX kit allows direct replacement of only the failed bung, with a weld-on plate if necessary for pipe repair.

Perfect for my repair. Cut out the old bung with the broken sensor using a hole saw and welded this into the pipe in minutes. This was the easy part of my diesel DPF issue.
