My 2011 GMC Sierra threw a code and said that there was an issue with the DEF Heater... Do yourself a favor and don't drive it until it goes into limp mode... But this, replace it and fix the problem... It has been working ever since I changed it... Couldn't be happier and saved some money as well with this... If you do go into limp mode you will need to take it to a shop to have them reset the system.

This is the third def heater installed first 2 where gm and under warranty ( 12 year, 110000 mile) The truck has 92000 miles on it. I hope this one lasts longer. The def fluid has not been resetting since install, I am told now that I need a manual regen cycle which I am presently working on
