I bought this for my 2012 RAV4 V6. My old unit went out on me about 2 1/2yrs ago and finally decided I wanted all the warning lights on my dash gone. It was a easy install. All there was on mine was 4 bolts to loosen and 2 hoses to take off and one wiring clip to undo. I loosened my battery terminals after install for an hour or so and all my dash lights have disappeared!!!! It’s been a few months now with no issues. I’m happy with this purchase!!

Installed this on my 2009 RAv4 Limited with no issues.All the Evap System codes were eliminated, vehicle does not hesitate to start and the idle is normal now.No worries if your pending or stored codes don't go away right away after you replace your canister, drive your car for about 50 miles they will go away. No more check engine light or VSC warning lights on mine.I hope this Dorman will last for a long period of time.Good luck!

I purchased this about 6 months ago. Have had all sorts of issues. Had it checked and this part is defective. By the time we finally got that figured out return window was closed. It has taken me a couple of months to write this but finally decided to as I felt had no option but to accept it.

Engine light on, dealer checked it and asked to change vapour canister, so I bought it from Amazon and replace with it, the engine light is still on, no idea why.

This is not a difficult install but China doesn't have very good quality control and isn't particular about mounting holes being where they're supposed to be- "pretty close" doesn't cut it but with files and drills and a bit of bending, I got it in... and it works OK for now. A side-by-side comparison to the original vapor canister shows two holes 1/16" out and the skid plate bent at the wrong location which put heavy pressure on the lines... straightened that out enough to protect the lines without mashing them flat. All were easy fixes, so no big deal... but added to my time and aggravation.

Direct replace nice an easy. After 10 years, OEM parts threw code 456. Replaced with this and code gone for 4 months. Back on with same code and need to buy again or???

Worked in clearing trouble lights on dash. Common issue with the RAV4 apparently. Good while it lasted. 11 months later it’s broke

The first unit was defective, but the company sent a replacement and gave me a full refund. Performing perfectly now.Reasonably happy. Better solution than paying a dealer $1,500 or more for the job. It's an easy install.
