Perfect fit for my 2003 Honda CRV and it cleared the P 1457 code. I found it easiest to jack the car up at the rear and access this part from there. Three bolts held the shield in place and three bolds held the canister with the valve in place. A little tricky to get the canister bolts off. Be careful, disconnect the battery, work in a well ventilated area and ensure no sparks as there was a hint of gas vapors while working on this. Figuring this out as I worked, it took about 2.5 hours to complete. Given how rusty the screws were that held the valve in place I doubt it could be removed on its own vs removing the canister then replacing the valve. I opted to replace the entire thing.

Worked great. Got rid of the engine codes. Priced better than chain auto shops.

This comes with BOTH the Evap Vent Valve/Solenoid and the Evap Charcoal Canister in one, already attached. Fixed my p1457 check engine light code on a 2003 Honda CR-V. Typically the Valve/Solenoid is the issue and the small bolts are always so rusty/stripped, I couldn't get the valve off! This replaced the whole thing and was much easier, AND cheaper than buying both separately! No extra bolts needed, just re-use. It's plastic rather than metal as oem is, but well worth it and a simple fix. *FYI, disconnect/connect battery afterwards and use car manual to follow instructions on ECU relearn cycle (with 60 miles of mixed driving). Light is gone!
