The distributor shaft seals are great for the OEM Hitachi distributors. Just keep in mind that they are too big for the Cardone TEC distributor which is Cardone's fault for changing the specs. Now I'm out of a car until Cardone responds.

I took one star off because the o-ring should have been thicker. The o-ring from this kit may seal correctly on new distributors, but like most of us, our ignition distributor shafts are now scored from years of use and require something more hefty. As you can see from the photo, I used a more thicker o-ring from different kit, which sealed the old distributor perfectly.

it fits, 98-02 accord 2.3 f23a vtec.stopped my leaks, easy install.o ring felt a lil thin, so i used one from another kit.only needed the one seal, but it was worth it to test before buying a expensive oem part or cheap knockoff.

Not Dorman's fault, but be careful if they list your car on the compatibility list, as 4 cylinder models and v6 models require different sized seals. This particular kit is ONLY for 4 cylinder models.Tried to use it on my 1997 Acura CL v6 and the my internal distributor shaft seal was much larger than the 2 included in this kit. Turns out the distributor shaft seal for j series v6's is extremely rare. I had to source mine on Ebay, and it was expensive. But well worth it. Rebuilding an OEM alternator is 100x better than chancing it on cheap, Chinese aftermarket alternators.

Great fit on the Hitachi distributor on a 1995 Honda Ballade EG. This kit is not available to buy locally in South Africa. Had to order from USA. A bit tricky to replace, but no more oil leaks and saved a few bucks. Happy customer.
