This fit my Mercury grand Marquis .It’s a pain to access but can be done with standard hand tools. Best access is jacking car and reaching over the transmission cross member. Access the 8mm bolt. Remove bolt/sensor and then remove the electrical connector by pressing tab and disconnect the electrical connector. Do the Exact in reverse.This solved some of my speedometer issues and transmission shift along with cruise control,
