Searched Amazon for brake lining for Dodge Dakota. 3 choices popped up. As per info supplied, 2 were unsuitable for the Dodge. The 3rd choice did not state the brake linings were unsuitable. 3rd choice was ordered & received but were made for Chev.Product is being returned but it is now on us to pay for shipping. Frustrated with lack of correct info and very frustrated with having to pay return shipping!

I expect auto parts to just work. I think that is everyone's expectation in the auto world. These are correct fit parts for my 2004 GMC Denali. There were some extra parts but that's not a bad thing. I did have 1 piece fail after installation due to a quality defect but I contacted Dorman directly and they sent me a new part that arrived within 5 days of my 1st contact with them. The fact that they corrected the issue with zero hassle means just as much to me as getting a quality part the 1st time.

Very good quality. It fit my 03 silverado ext cab 6.6ft bed z71 perfectly. Note this repair is very tedious and time consuming "take your time don't get impatient lots of trail and error when running them in " pro tip I fed them in from the drivers fender linner to the hcu then made corrections from there use the hcu ad your base .

Having had to replace the rusted gas lines with Stainless Steel, I found it prudent to change the Brake lines as well to Stainless Steel. Was a good decision as one of the front brake lines was leaking, you wont go wrong doing this Upgrade.

This is the second brake line kit I've purchased from Dorman. The first was to replace the rotted out brake lines in my 06 Duramax, and this kit was to replace the rotted out brake lines in Daughter's 03 Sierra and the fit and quality is superb! I have previously purchased other items from Dorman and they have all been the correct parts for the vehicles I installed them on. I call Doorman parts, Plug and Play With No Hassles. Doorman is the BEST!

If you live in a place that puts salt on the roads then the stainless steel lines are a must have. I was tired of replacing line after line and these worked perfect.

Very easy to install. Took me and a friend a couple of hours to get these lines in. I had it easier than some with a 1” lift on my truck and was able to run the lines with ease and very little bending. Labeling was very easy to follow, no need for “instructions”. First time brake replacement for me and I couldn’t be happier. Been installed for a few months now.

You will hate putting these on. You will really really have a bad day. But if you have an early 2000's Chevy, your brake lines are shot if you live anywhere it snows. GM used poor material and placed them in a location prone to water entrapment. After three busted lines I cut them all out. The right front and line to the rear are challenging. For the right front, I kept it folded and fed it from the left front across, then back to the ABS module. For the rear, it was either drop the fuel tank or just fish it through and gamble. I gambled. While the truck was up on stands I replaced the rubber lines and the nipples and now I stop like new.
