The tube is good, fit right, and not too hard to install, but the price for such a small item is excessive, in my opinion, hence the 4 star rating.

Perfect fitting replacement dipstick tube. I’d strongly suggest giving it a good coat of paint after installation to ensure it doesn’t rust. OEM tube rusted out at the base and the bracket requiring the replacement.

My dip stick tube broke on my 05’ dodge Cummins. This one fits perfectly. It was a bit of a pain in the ass to get the old one out and then to get this one back in but got it done in about an hour.

Eventually got it in, but had to do a little grinding and bending to make it work.

Replaced original dipstick tube that was broken while removing 5.9L CR Cummins for gaskets and resealing. I needed tube only, and this one was all I could find at the time. The new tube was 0.007" too large and had to be ground down to fit into block. It was about 1/4" longer than the original tube. The tabs were well deformed out of place. It ended up being well over an hour to install a simple dipstick tube, when it should have taken less than 5 minutes.

Fits Great no problem with the new part just difficult getting the broken one out of the block I used a lag bolt and visegrip with my air hammer to pop the old pieces out and used a long socket extension with a crowfoot socket to drive the new tube back in place
