received part and desided to put in right away took about 30 min and was back together and work great should've replaced it 2 months ago if I knew it was so easy I would have you need a 7 mm wrench and screw driver everything fit as it should .

I installed this in my 2001 Oldsmobile intrigue, although its not designed to fit, the only difference is the button on the end that you push that sticks out of the dash, I simply swap the buttons it was a little tricky, but it easily done, three little tabs, one slides off, and the old one slides on. apparently their exact same switch. Everything works exactly as it supposed to, and the fit was perfect. Slid right in. time will tell how long it holds up, but right now it's working perfectly.

The part is great but Oldsmobile made this very difficult to change out. I have it in and it’s solved all my blinker intermittent problems.

Works great. Fixed my blinker issue as I assumed it would. I read a lot about people having problems with replacing this part, because it doesn’t fit right, so people end up having to glue it. Well this one fit just right. Snapped it in, and was ready to go.

The main problem with this switch is that it won't lock into its receptacle. Also, the switch button isn't red like the original, its black, & doesn't appear to be illuminated for night driving. The original would glow red when the headlights were on. Since I wasn't able to install the switch, though, I can't be sure on this point. I really tried to get this switch to click into place, but it just wouldn't. It had some guides over the locking tabs that the original didn't have. Since the guides were removable I tried locking the switch into place both with & without the guides, but no luck. With the old switch I could repeatedly lock & unlock the switch into place. Hopefully the problems I had are the rare result of tolerances not quite adding up & aren't seen by the majority of people buying these.
