Recieved the product broken and didn't have time to install til after the 30 day window. Since I didn't know it was used Dorman won't warranty it.

Well price is good for a dorman product. But after 3 months I am have problems with it. Should have bought some no name product.

plugs and installs real fast. Just let the engine idle for a bit 2 times and off you go. Did already several test drives and no hiccups. I'll have to see of course if it lasts but so far so good. I'll try and update. If this works then why buy a OEM one for big money.

I bought the part for '05 Chevy 4.2L Trailblazer LS. The vehicle is not prone to having any major issues. So after talking to my mechanic he said THIS PART should be OK to order. I also verified this part is compatible to be extra sure. When I received the part right away I noticed the part looked potentially used and like it was hard to get a tight fit in that area where it faces the intake/gasket thing in the car. Also this Dorman product didn't "mesh" with the PCM right off the bat so had to do some re-programming of the PCM at the dealership. Got a new PCM installed. More money down the drain. Then after a week I noticed it starting to degrade performance, little by little and started having problems starting. Then later had to take the vehicle back into the dealer...for the 2nd time. Dealership told me not to buy Dorman for this part. Dealership said the Throttle Body was defective and trash so installed their version of same product and it all worked perfectly.
