This Dorman throttle body worked great to replace the plastic OEM one that was letting water into the electronics

Liked how the body is made other than plastic but that to remove a small bracket to make my wire fit. Others then that works good

This is for my 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Fits perfect. After 108 thousand miles the old unit finally pooped out. And it happened fast. First a red lightning bolt warning light lit up my dash and then I heard a whining noise that got louder as I was trying to return home. The old factory throttle body was made out of plastic. I guess they were trying to save on weight. The Dorman body is entirely made of metal and looks very well made. It does not come with a gasket but my old one was still intact. I was worried that the system may not recognize the new device but after installation the engine cranked up and the throttle worked fine. A lot easier than I anticipated.

Throttle Body exactly as advertised! Fit my 2010 Jeep JK perfectly.Install was pretty quick and so far it seems to be working great. I will update this review if I run into problems! The first picture is my old Throttle Body that definitely needed to be replaced. The rest of the pictures are the new Throttle Body painted and installed!!!REASONS FOR LOSING A STAR!1. -1 Item description is wrong.2. -1 Slow to ship item.3. -1 Item arrives damaged or defective.4. -1 Poor quality or workmanship.5. -1 Lousy communication. If I leave a 1 star review BUYER BEWARE as a 1 star review is actually a ZERO star review!

Bien construit comparativement à celui d origine en plastique, après un mois d'essai j ai eu aucun bug. Ne pas oublier de débrancher la batterie avant l installation et de rester le ECU

I was able to swap out the bad unit with this one in about 10 minutes. Now my car runs great, seems like it runs better than it ever has.

Installed in a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 3.7L engine, worked for just under 3 weeks. Suddenly, at a red light the car just suddenly stalled and wouldn't turn back on. Had to pay a tow truck to drive it to a dealership ($140 and change), after dealership diagnosis (about $200) said they couldn't communicate with the throttle body and that the computer wasn't recognizing it for programming purposes. In all I'm out about $477 between buying this POS junk + tow fee + shop feeWould give "0" stars if I could, getting stuck in the middle of traffic was not a fun experience

Amazon confirmed fit states that this Dorman 977-785 Electronic Throttle Body Does not fit the 2007, 3.7l Jeep Grand Cherokee. I can confirm that it does indeed fit. After checking the Dorman website compatibility chart I have replaced my OEM throttle body (150k/miles) with the Dorman 977-785 and it fit perfectly and completely fixed my 2007 stuck in limp mode, flashing bolt with engine light on. Started car 5x and drove it with no issues, no engine light and no codes.
