The front ferrule bracket needed to be spread before accepting the front cable ferrule. Minor stuff but typical of offshore aftermarket quality control. I guess we get what we pay for. Otherwise the fit was acceptable.

The tensioner at the end broke the first time I went to set the parking brake, so I had to use part of the old one

The coupler is very low grade. Snapped the second time I used it. The cable then dragged on the road (I was unable to remove the cable when the coupler snapped) and was ruined. I got one application of the parking brake out of this new cable.

The little black coupler is made from much thinner steel than the original on the old cable. It popped as I was testing after installation.Luckily I had the old one on hand, re-installed it on the new cable.
