****Update February 2017*** See commend posted on my review. It seems Dorman has corrected the issue since my review was posted.*******Original Review Below:***This part is incorrectly made. The threads on the screw part of the brake cable are 5/16" x 18, and the equalizer (dorman part 21121, or factory) is M8-1.25. so you can't screw it in.I checked out another brand, and same issue -- but it appeared to be the exact same part in difference packaging, as it had the same part number on the sticker on the inner bag -- even though the brand name part number was different. 4 other parts stores didn't have the part in stock in any brand, and there is no way i'm paying GM dealer prices for something like this (though i didn't even call to price)I chatted with Dorman tech support, who were friendly, and acknowledged the issue and were aware that the part was wrong (but are still selling it and not recalling it?).The 21121 part, the equalizer/adjuster is correct and should match factory/OEM specs, according to the dorman guy. however, what i had to do to complete the job, which worked fine, was used a Tool/Die set and re-threaded the equalizer part to the 5/16"x18 -- didn't want to do it that way but didn't have a choice to get it done. It holds fine, and screwed in easily after i did that.Dorman is supposed to get back to me with more info. I may update this review if they correct the issue.
