These rebuild kits for the 1978 ElDorado are not always complete. I've purchased 6 kits from various vendors and only one of those kits had all the components. These calipers are a popular unit in conversion kits like converting my drum brakes on the rear axle on my 1998 Dodge Ram. The caliper when functioning properly works great. If you have the mechanical skills they are easy to rebuild and save big money versus buying new ones. Just wish the kits had all the parts in them as advertised.
