This product does not fit the application shown for a 1956 Chevy pickup. Female end is 3/8" fitting inside diameter, not the needed 7/16". Also the fitting thru the frame requires a horseshoe clip to anchor the hose to the frame, only a problem arises since the frame is about twice the thickness of the slip groove allowed by the fitting - the horseshoe clip cannot be installed. DO NOT BUY if you're application is for an original 1950's Chevy pickup.

These fit left and right front brakes on my 1957 Chevrolet 3200 pickup. The only complaint I had was that these did not have a provision for the retaining nut on the frame that prevents the flex line and hardline connection point from moving. I think there's another way to secure it but I didn't have time to play with it. Does not come with a new crush washer for the wheel cylinder. I ordered a 3rd one for the rear wheels but was not able to install yet to verify fitment. Will update with results.

I ordered 2 since a 3100 all three hoses are the same. I now have added reliability in my braking system.

This item seems to be an exact replacement for the rear axle flex hose on my 1957 Chevy Belair. The only propblem (and the reason for the lower rating) is that it was promised in two days, but it wasn't even shipped until the afternoon of the day it was supposed to arrive. Since I had arranged my schedule to work on it the next, day, this was an inconvenience. Again, although I don't have the brake system up and working yet, this item seemed to fit correctly.

Fit my 55 Chevy and replaced the old rusty, sketchy one that had been on there for god knows how long after redoing my entire brake system. It holds fluid and sends it to the back. Perfectly happy with it
