Got this for a 2002 Ford explorer sport, RWD, for the front drivers side. Just like every one I got at the parts store, the metal tube coming off the caliper mount sort of feels like it's pointing the wrong way, especially compared to the one that I was replacing. It didn't quite reach, like a half inch too short, so I carefully used a tubing bender to straighten out the steel line and give me enough reach. Once installed, it was fine.

Works great on my 04 Ranger, I am picky on maintenance and I have seen these hoses get soft in time due to heavy brakeing so as soon as I purchase a new to me used vehicle I try to replace these as I did with my Ranger.
