Ever go to do a brake job and get to the caliper bolts just to find the torx part stripped out? Yea, me too... Well, a hammer, extractor kit, a few beers and a LOT of choice words gramma would of flip-flop slapped me over and sent me straight to church, comes in hand. Then you order these Dorman caliper pins to never have that issue again! Not using torx or allen sockets, it's just a regular socket. Can't remember the size right off hand. Gramma is happier and so am I that I get to stay home on Sundays...

Be advised this is a new style, with an old part number. Dorman Products really should have gave these a new part number. I spoke with the Dorman Tech Team, they said the new style is intended to eventually replace the older version.... why am I rambling about this? Because if you go to almost any local parts store, they will have this exact Dorman caliper bolt part number in stock... but when they hand it to you, I won't be this updated head design. The old style had an internal torx, which has a 50/50 chance of failure, and it becomes an absolute nightmare to remove when it stripps out. This new and much smarter design uses an actual bolt head. The only place I've been able to get these new style is through AMAZON. Other stores have old-stock that is slow to sell, so it will be years before all the old style go away.

It says it compatible and it is, however it to long to install dust cover. I will be changing the the next good weather day I have

Product is a quarter inch too long for use on 2012 Mazda 3 it will not fit front nor the rear calipers with quarter-inch to long you cannot put the dust cap on

These were good replacement caliper bolts. Came with thread locker already on the threads. There was one big difference in the bolts that I received - they came with a 10mm bolt head on them - not the allen head as pictured, so I had to use a 10mm socket to install them - and that head sticks out of the rubber boot, unlike the factory original that fits inside the boot. Not a huge issue - but something I figured I would mention.

The Ford dealer told me that I was missing one bolt and wanted 26.50 (for one) plus 65. to install it.A retail store wanted 12.50 for a set of 2.Amazon has it for less then 5.00 for a set of 2.(I only need one.)It's easy to install once you remove the wheel. Half an hour job.There is something wrong with the system.It's hard to buy local when there is such a price difference.
