I did an 8-lug conversion on my 1990 F150 and had no brakes because the stock master cylinder didn't push enough fluid to move the calipers, so I installed this master in combination with a Cardone 54-74400 booster, and my brakes are fantastic now. It comes with the port for the cruise control switch which my year truck doesn't use, but I just put a brass plug in it.

Replacement for heavily used truck with over 350K miles & poor maintenance in the past! Inner rear seal leaked all the brake fluid into the brake power booster requiring replacement of the vacuum power booster also.

I replaced my 1 1/16 in. master cylinder with this 1 1/4 in., every thing fit just fine and the Best Brakes I ever had period. Be sure to buy and use a bleed kit, it will take a long time to fully bleed the air out. A great up grade for my 1999 f150. A quart of fluid and less than 2 hours work. If my 2003 F150 ever needs a new cylinder this will be the way I go. Very little foot pressure needed, be very careful at first as this will increase your braking force xxx. If you haul weight or pull loads, this is the way I would go on replacement. Got by on one bleed kit for all three ports, Use grease or tape around fitting threads while bleeding. Trouble free replacement.
