The bole hole openings where off a little or maybe it was not ground out enough. Summit Racing sold me the same part so I can see why there are issues out there.

Leaks right out of the box! Bolt holes do not align with backing plate. Bleeder screws suck in air must use Teflon tape to stop it. Spend the extra money!

Pros:This wheel cylinder can fit the twin I-beam suspension of old ford with some grinding of the cylinder and the backing plate. This fitment is tough due to the kingpins. If you can get the seal right the first time, these cylinders work great and have been reliable for me in other applications.Cons:The copper washer used to seal the brake fitting is lame. It leaked on me many times, I had to really crank the hose on there to get it to seal. I would recommend fitting your hose on there while the cylinder is in a vice, off of the car. Make sure you test for leaks and check your reservoir often during the first few drives. The strange thing is that other cylinders similar to this from dorman use a flare fitting. I wish they had implemented this!
