For what you pay this is actually a decent pedal. I have a dw3000 on my acoustic kit but wanted a less expensive double pedal for my electric practice kit. This worked great. It has plenty of adjustable settings but most important its sturdy and smooth. Its not a high end pedal but that's not what I was expecting. I was expecting a pedal that worked. That's what it is. It works and is geat value for the price. You can absolutely play with this be comfortavle. Tension settings are good for me but you can always add other tension springs.

UPDATE: after some time with it, it's not very good. Springs are a bit too weak and the pedal won't secure well to the kick drum. Easily moves left and right not matter how hard you tighten it. I'll be sending mine back.Additionally, if you seat the hammer on the left side too low, it impacts the L-bracket right underneath it. I had to move it just a little above the center of the pad to get it to clear that bracket.Seems solid other than that. Will report back if I run into any issues.

Well made well thought out a lot of adjustable features. More sturdy than conventional pedals. Excellent quality. I highly recommend ... this is as good as the very expensive pedals for sure..

If you know how to adjust them properly, you can get a solid run with these. They feel good too.

OverviewThis product is a double pedal & hammer bass kick set up designed for two footed operation on one bass drum. It has all metal construction with chain drive and multiple adjustment points. The hammers have a felt padded side for clean, deep thumps.Positives- This set up is very well built. Heavy materials that look to be very durable for expected longevity.- The pedals use a chain drive for quick and smooth response.- MANY adjustment points across the entire assembly allow for tuning the action to each drummer's preferences.- Everything was assembled except for the cross bar connection from pedal to pedal which made for a very quick set up time for use (before making all kinds of custom adjustments)- This set up comes with tools specific to different adjustment points along the entire assembly.Negatives- As of yet, the only negative I have encountered is since it is so versatile, the "gazillion" options for adjustments might be overwhelming if you let it...which is really not a negative to have so many options. In Conclusion- I have found this item to be as good of quality and performance as many other much more expensive systems. I was able to use it even with my Alesis Nitro-Mesh E-Drum set. I say get this product and bring out your Heavy Metal double beats, your Prog-Rock triplets and whacked out Jazz riffs. Rock On!
