This was great until it malfunctioned a few months after we bought it. The back burner won’t turn off and stays on high unless you unplug it. We bought something else because we can’t control the heat.

The price for this product is a bit high, because the quality of it is not worth this much. I expected to be a lot better than what I received. It takes a long time to heat up, and its power not as strong as I expected.

Had some misfortune with our old stove, needed some burners to get us through a tight spot. This is PERFECT! Just plug it in and it's easy to use, the burners heat up super fast and the glass top and touch controls are easy to clean. The price was low compared to replacing the entire stove right now, and we can use it for parties to keep food warm in the future. Very, very happy with this product.

The product was light weight and delivered with no issues. Instructions were straight forward for setting up but the touch controls were a bit confusing to use.Once set up, I then turned on to test it out with pot of water. It heated the water there was a chemical smell of plastics or something burning. It was to the point my wife smelt it upstairs. Overall it seemed like a good product but if the smell is normal I wish they would of mentioned in the Instructions.

The Electric Stove Top Burner by TYEMUI, is a well-constructed, good operating glass cooktop that can easily and conveniently add 2 additional cooking surfaces to replace or add to your current set-up. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – It looks and performs like a good quality cooktop. I’d put this one in the lower side of the upper tier of the quality scale for replacement cooktops and guess it should hold up well over time, assuming the electronics survive.II. Performance – It’s worked very good with a quick heat up time that’s evenly distributed across the surface. The glass top is easy to clean, but I clean immediately after use, so this might not be the case if you allow it to cake on for multiple uses. The smooth top has a great appearance with a modern look, but appears a little weird when placed on top of the counter instead of inset. It definitely doesn’t look like its designed to go on top, even though it is and works great in this capacity. The power cord is shorter then I’d like, reducing its placement without an extension cord that can handle 2000 watts, but at least its thick and good quality. The residual heat indicator is a great feature to have to let you know the top is still hot and help reduce burns. There’s a lot of great features like a timer, child lock, 9 levels of heat choices and overheat protection.Overall, this has been a great addition to the kitchen when more cooktops are needed for a party or holiday. I also use it in the RV, when I don’t want to use the gas ones or even outside sometimes on the picnic table. So far its worked without any faults or failures, but I’ll be sure to update this review if I ever start to have problems with it.If you’d find it helpful to see an up-close visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape.
