I really like spending tike in this during the evening and night. The slope can be irritating but only if you aren't using it properly. I place a weight on the drain grommet to make sure it drains any rain water, but instrongly suggest buying the cover too. This is good for looking at stars and sunsets too!

Nice size and fun to use for kids and adults. However, this needs a zipper door OR at least a proper drain hole for rain water. There is one tiny hole for something but it’s not for draining because it’s not at the lowest point. Would like to have the same thing with proper drainage or door to close up when not in use. We leave this in our tree obviously :)

Note to future buyers, this thing is super tall so you'll need a 9' tall hanging point at minimum. Also the included instructions are for the smaller cocoon, you'll need to google a bunch to find the right version if you can't figure it out (thread the poles through the inner pocket as you put the sections together, make sure the circle is mostly inside the tent before closing the loop).I like that we can fit more than one person inside. I ended up taking it inside and hanging it from a hanging frame (Sorbus Tripod Hanging Chair Stand- Heavy Duty Steel Sensory Swing Weather & Rust Resistant- Adjustable Portable Hammock Stand 330lbs for Tree,Lounger,Saucer,Air Porch,Indoor/Outdoor,Patio https://a.co/d/8ndeFu1), it barely grazes the ground.If I had to do it again I'd get the smaller one instead.

Very easy to put together. The last bar connection is tight but doable. I am a older woman and was able to do all of it by myself. Took less than a hour to have it hanging in my yard. I did buy a separate hanging kit that made it very easy to hang on my tree. It is so cozy inside. I have taken many naps already. Doing work inside would be difficult. It is not made for sitting up. It sags in the middle. The bottom is not pulled tight making it good for lounging but not for sitting upright. I hope this helps you with your decision.

Perfect size for me and two dogs, they won’t let me go in alone. Great addition to our big oak tree. Very comfortable and relaxing once everyone settles.Assembly was easy once I looked at the directions; an hour after wrestling with the giant hoop. It comes in reasonable size pieces and is sturdier than you think. Inside zipper all around made installing hoop easier, again after finally reading the directions and installation hints. 🙄 thumbs up by the whole pack ! 👍🏼

I discovered this hammock in a spa resort and fell in love with it.As it is used by many people all year long at the spa I was hoping that it'd be sturdy and strong enough for my personal usage.After only 3 uses, the ring started to bend and curve and it broke the inside zipper.I can't sit in it anymore; if I do, I hear the squeaking sound of the ring trying to curve further more.I am so disappointed.

Hammocks are popular with my family. With the addition of a new apartment building directly behind our house, we wanted a little more privacy. The Cacoon (or "The Pod" as my daughter likes to call it) was very easy to set up as we have a large tree with perfectly placed (and very strong) branches. Assembly would have been easier with a second person helping, but I managed it on my own. It has three loops around the perimiter for tie downs but it did not come with tie-down ropes or tent pegs to secure them. Fortunately we have lots of those here, so that was not a problem. I HIGHLY recommend using tie-down to secure the Cacoon to prevent it from blowing around too much. It really does catch the wind. If it repeatedly hit a tree or fence it would eventually damage the canvas where it is stretched over the hoop. Not seen in this photo is the good quality length of black rope and the heavy carabiner holding it up. Over-all it seems well made and we quite like the design.

Dieses wunderbare Ding hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen.Aufbau: Schnell und einfach (wenn man nicht zwei linke Hände und gar keine Kraft hat) Ich habe immer ein weiteres Element angesteckt und dann den Reißverschluss weiter geschlossen. Darauf achten, das Anfang und Ende am Eingang sind, sonst könnte es beim letzten Zusammenstecken knifflig werden.Aufhängen: ein Haken für die Decke ist nicht dabei, aber ein Seil mit Haken für den Einsatz im Freien oder wenn man Balken im Haus hat. Vorerst hängt das Zelt bei mir im Wohnzimmer. Im Sommer wird es dann auch mal draußen eingesetzt.Hält alles super!Nutzung: Das Zelt ist einfach super gemütlich. Vielleicht hätte es ein bisschen weniger schräg sein können, aber ich hab mit Kissen und Decke meine perfekte „Kuschelposition“ gefunden.Platz und Stabilität: Mein Mann 115kg und ich 68kg, beide über 1,80m groß, haben ausreichend Platz und alles hält einwandfrei. Das ganze ist sehr stabil.Also ich würde sofort wieder eins kaufen.Einfach perfekt zum Entspannen!Ganz klar - 5 Sterne!

We bought this for our kids but have discovered that we like it as much as they do. It has become a favorite spot to read, hang out, and even nap. Strong enough to hold all four of our family members at once (but that is only comfortable for a few minutes) but seems to be best suited for 1 or 2 people at a time.
