I like how this could be used for multiple purposes, whether it is for the kitchen, campsite, or even self defense in an emergency. Properly sharp and useful, it has proven well to cut both my dinner steak as well as rope. I would recommend.

Great camping knife! I’m really impressed with this knife set. I was a little worried that there was going to be too much play in the sheath/handles, but the knives fit together with a very secure feel. When shaken, the blades don’t budge at all, which makes me feel much better when they’re stored in a pack. The edges are plenty sharp, so be careful when sliding back together. Also, be cautious when cleaning and make sure the knives are spotless and dry before sheathing, or you’ll end up with crud in the sheathes. I’m very happy with this set and recommend to anyone that’s looking for a compact and safe knife for camping.

Very difficult and dangerous to sheath. An accident waiting to happen. Poor design with little safety in mind. Also , if you don’t cut your finger off, you will damage the point of the knives.

I ordered these mostly just out of curiosity. Objectively, these arrived sufficiently sharp and straight. Fit and finish are ok... 7 out of 10, They're pretty much exactly as advertised. That being said, I wouldn't recommend spending money on these because there are a lot of sub-20 dollar options out there that are better for everything that either one of these two knives can do. Also, the most glaringly obvious issue with these is that just to simply operate these results in the user shoving two knife points directly toward their unguarded hands at the same time. They don't slide together very easily which makes sense because how else would they stay together. but this is just a setup for a disaster and I'm not here for it. Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend these.

Kind of a cool and handy set of knives with a nice look. They fit together well too. However, I don't think these are meant to be tough knives. Will they work in the kitchen, sure. Do you want to rely on these for camping or survival? Never... That said, they are nice enough. The one thing I am not clear on though is dishwasher safe.. Are they?? I have no idea. But the fact that they have a slot in each handle means that food stuff can get in there and that may not be great.

I actually have the bigger version of this, so I knew what I was getting into here.It's an interesting pair of knives. It's not a bad thing to have two at your disposal in the same amount of space as one. However, something to think about: when you want to use one and separate it from the other, well, you have TWO unsheathed knives to be careful with and keep track of, not just the one you're using. Very big safety concern there. Another thing - and just being picky - if you're picky, you'll notice that the blade is obviously going to be off-center in the handle since there is a slot for the other knife beside it.It's ok as a knife though... one has a tanto blade - both knives are reasonably sharp. This isn't my favorite knife. Regardless, I got it because it's an interesting design and I already have the bigger version so thought I'd complete the set. :-)I'm gonna give this 3.5 stars. That rounds up to 4 on Amazon. I would only get this if you like to collect unusual knives or if you simply want to have a couple knives in your camping kit. Sharp and best of all it very securely goes together for storage and looks like its one knife until you pull it apart. Great fit and decent finish. I would keep moisture from the handles to protect the wood and am very careful when washing the blades to keep water out of the handles. It is great for picnics as you have 2 knives taking the space of one but clean it well before putting it back together.

I like the idea of these knives having a sheath to store them as well as traveling for a kitchen kit. These knives do need some sharpening. Also the two knives sheath together, they are not separate when storing which wasn't super clear in the description and images. Seems a little more hazards when pulling them apart as they snap together tight, it's a formula set up to hurt yourself.
