Yes cheaper than others and has both 3/16 & 1/4 in o e tool. Tooo bad it is trash at making flairs.(it's one purpose) I was sent 1 replacement. Both tools sent could not perform is description. Wasted my money. I bought the competition. Had to buy 2 tools for each size and was more expensive BUT THE COMPETITORS BRAND WORKED WONDERFUL ON MULTIPLE LINES. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM EVEN IF YOUR TEMPTED OR ON A BUDGET. TRASH TRASH TRASH. I HAVE NO EMPATHY FOR A COMPANY THAT PUTS OUT SUCH A CRAP PRODUCT. brand that worked for me started with the letters "Cap"- ends with "ri" flair in picture that looks good for proof.

Buying pre-formed brake lines costs a mint. The way to go is with the double flare and purchasing brake line by the foot and bending as needed. Double flares are an absolute must for lines that feel pressure and certainly for items you absolutely cannot allow the lines or fittings to fail. I used the old flaring tool that has been around forever until I found this tool here. I'd not purchased a tool like this previously because of cost and the simple fact that I'm getting old, and don't have too many vehicles that I repair myself but I just put new calipers, pads, hoses, lines, wheel cylinders and flushed the master cylinder on my truck and it was super easy and did a fantastic job for a grumpy old man who still likes to do his own maintenance whenever I can. That way, I have nobody to blame but myself.
