I love these little combination/dual material plates. You get the best of both worlds. On one side you get PEI which is my go-to when I need something reliable for my prints to stick to. And on the other side you get a different plate surface to test and see if you like. Effectively you get two plates for well over $20. You just can't beat it. In this case, the second side is PET which gives a very nice, smooth, Carbon Fiber finish to your prints. I have done a bit of testing and, even though prints don't stick as well to the PET side, it does work well depending on the shape of your print. Also, you will want to show the surface finish, so just make sure the parts you are printing on it have a good and flat side resting on the plate and they will come out beautiful. I normally do print-in-place boxes and the top and bottom surfaces come out great when using the PET side. I will definitely recommend.
