I also used this for my pop socket on my phone. It hasn't came off when others have failed by now. This is by far is the best one I have found for that. Yes now I have many adhesive but never know when it will come in handy.

Oddly I'm using this for everything. Everything just everything. It is the best thing that is in my tool chest and I will consistently buy these over and over and over again. Everything from outdoor use to indoor use. These are 100% must buy

These didn’t work good for what I needed them for. I used them to hold my phone on my dashboard but unfortunately they didn’t hold the piece at all.

The circular one was almost perfect for what I needed. It is currently holding my pop-socket on my new phone case. I needed a round adhesive and it’s working great! I had to trim it some, as it was a bit bigger than my pop, but it’s holding up. Now, I have this gigantic bag of adhesives and not really any use for them. I guess I have them if I need them. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I think that these are about the same as most every double sided foam tape on the market. The package that I received had white foam, not black foam. The wax paper peels off with minimal effort and the adhesive is “ok”…it is not as strong as other 3M adhesives, and I wouldn’t trust it to replace a rivet, screw, or weld.I attached window and door sensors for my home security system with the foam pads. The old double sided foam wore out after 4+ years, I replaced all the sensors adhesives. I wonder if these will last as long. Time will tell, but I can say that two weeks have passed since replacement and there have been no signs of failure on any of the 18 sensors that were attached…no need to re-attach or replace. If you are placing small, smooth plastic items to glass, smooth tile, or enamel, this will work for you.I tried to secure a rug to tile floor, and it doesn’t do great. To be fair, the back of the rug is that “rubberized” backing that looks like a rubber screen, if that makes sense. It is not a recommended surface for attachment as it isn’t smooth, but I had hoped the rubber in the backing would hold securely to the pad…sadly, I discovered “not so much”. If you are trying to secure a rug to a tile floor, this might not be ideal for you.I would not use this outside. I would not use this on textured walls or sheetrock. I would not use this with heavy items like pictures, wall hangers, or tool holders. I would use this for any lightweight item smooth surface to smooth surface attachment.I would recommend that you buy these based on the price as I don’t think that any of these type of products are better or worse than their competitors. To me, the best price will win out with that parameter. When I got these they were about 13 cents per pad. That is a very competitive price compared with “big box stores” similar products.

Used to add some small smoke detectors in the house. Still on the ceiling so must be good.
