I have two of these units and four batteries. When this particular unit arrived, it would only charge a battery on one side of the duel charging stations. I determined this by switching batteries around between the two units. I reported the issue to Amazon and am in the process of receiving a replacement unit.

I have a bunch of NP-F550's that I have to charge. My old dual charger used to plug int a USB port or "Wall Wart" to charge, and it took fffffooooorrrrreeeevvvveeeerrrrr....... It could often take several days to charge all may camera and lighting batteries for a film shoot. I can now do them all in a matter of hours. I got three of these to supplement the other wall chargers I have. I'll order more in the future when I get more batteries.

Lasted a little under 12 months and then melted and stopped working. I'm gonna buy another one and give it a shot though, as it did work pretty good.

I was looking for a charger that could charge my batteries a little faster then my single bay charger that came with my Atomos Ninja Blade video recorder. There were mixed reviews on this product however the description of the charger seemed good plus it was a duel bay charger at a reasonable price. When I opened the box the product seemed well made and the batteries fit in the battery bays making a good connection. All good except it could not charge any of my know good NP F570 & NP F970 batteries. The charger has LED indicator lights one for each bay - red indicates the battery is charging and blue color indicates battery is fully charged. The charging indicator LED's for both battery bays remained red for over 30 hours. I tried charging just one battery at a time (the lower capacity NP F570) again the LED indicator remained red never turned blue. My Atomos charger can charge the NP F570 batteries from completely dead to full charge in about 3 hours the NP F970's takes longer about 12 hours. So I know it's not my batteries at fault. Unfortunately I had to return this product for a refund.

Inserts are to slide in batteries. Not sure if this is a benefit to us or the seller.Arrived a day late.Each half of the charger has a snap-in plastic adapter, as if this is a universal charger with adapters in place to charge the battery. Not a fan of this style, but I get it. Maybe if it were more clear in the description or photos I wouldn’t be so agitated. Also, if this is the case, what other adapters are available? Could be a huge selling point. But right now it just means extra pieces to come loose or break.
