I have been trying to get my candles right for two years now. About a two months ago, I chose the right wax and had perfect scent throw. The problem I had was getting the darn things to stay lit! Well, I'm here to tell you. Not only did I finally get everything else right, but I also now have the perfect wick!! I am so excited! I decided to try these wooden wicks, (I was just about at my wits end). I also went with a couple of cotton wicks so my customers would have options. The new wax wicks work great, but I'm a huge fan of wooden wicks. I enjoy making elegant candles and this wick hit the mark! It lit immediately, great flame, created a perfect melt pool and it stayed lit until I blew it out! I know I seem over excited, but I have stuck with this candle making thing for two years and it was all worth it. Now I can be confident with selling my candles. I'm ordering more. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Woohoo!

There’s no crackle. And it doesn’t stay lit. As a business owner I was hoping to have a better quality for my luxe candle WoodWick brand.Definitely wouldn’t buy again.

They burn way way to fast. Most of them stayed lit for a few minutes and then turned to ash. Disappointed!
Worst wax I’ve ever used

Booster strip not glued to most of the batch I received. I had to use paper clips.

The "double" thin addition that is placed in the center of the stick, falls off & breaks easily. They have not provided any additional help or benefit.

I am new to making candles, but I had had candles with wooden wicks before, so I wanted to try these out. I like that these wicks are freestanding in the metal holders and do not require stabilizing sticks as do other wicks. I have learned that I should trim these before pouring the wax, as they are quite hard to trim with scissors afterward, lol! They are a nice alternative to the traditional wick and are best for jar-type candles. I would not use these for molded candles. I am pleased with the quality and the number that came with this order.

I pour several candles yearly. I typically need to double my wicks to avoid tunneling. A candle issue that happens when the flame won’t create enough heat to melt the entire surface of the candle. The candle pictured is using just one of these wicks and is burning perfectly. One pro tip if you are not familiar using wood wicks. Pre soak your wick in olive oil before pouring the candle for best results.

I was looking for these, mine came in a zip lock baggie like it was a return.
