Use them to walk creeks they work very well. Also quite durable for pulling in some unexpected large catches. Everyone in my family has figured out how to use them and catch everything from chubs to minnows and shiners to as big as small mouth bass large mouth bass spotted bass. Log perches. All sunfish species love them! Haven't tried them too much in larger bodies of water but if you found the right areas I'd imagine they work just as well.

I like the fact they come with single hooks instead of trebles. I hate trebles. All I had to do was mash the barb.

I bought these in preparation for an epic battle with bait stealing panfish.Imagine my surprise when catfish after catfish went after this tiny lure, and stayed on the hook long enough to get reeled out of the canal and up onto an elevated dock (about 15 feet above the water) and into my bucket! I caught 3 good sized catfish in about 2 hours this morning, after having no luck with other hooks and baits. A teensy bit of chicken heart was all the bait I needed! The hook didn’t break or bend at all!

You do ultra light fishing? Get these I use them on a spinning set up and I've caught a fairly decent (small) bass with one but it's my pan fish buster they're fun and they spin beautifully and I also got my smallest largemouth bass on one (picture)

I don't fly fish, but I bought these to throw in my hand reel kit to go after smaller but more abundant species.I tried the red one on my spinning reel and got a bite on the second cast. Pretty impressive!For the size and cost, it's worth a try.
