The set comes with the case, the rods, a rubber mat with the zodiac signs and a pendulum necklace. The rods are metal, and it looks and feels sturdy. I had to google HOW to use it, because it does NOT come with any instructions (only a thank you card). It came very fast. I am happy with this so 5* from me!
