While connecting to Source or Display, you must use the usb cable to power the Switcher, If you do not power the Switcher, your source or display can not show anything. Do not use too long cable(total 3m) for connection between the switcher and your devices.

This HDMI switch serves it's purpose and does it well, but it's not winning any beauty contests in the process. I purposely sought this one out because of its infrared remote and it's compatibility with my Harmony Hub, but an infrared remote is much less convenient when compared to a RF remote. But if you're not far from the hub and you have direct line of sight then it won't be a problem for you.

This does Not go Up to 8K Resolution, at Best it is 4K Only and HD 1080p. It doesn’t have 48Gbps Speed. I Returned it to Amazon.

The Giantmatrix 8k ultra switch works pretty good. I get a 4k 120hz 10 bit hdr signal out to my monitor from every port. The remote and the ir sensor work well. There was no power supply only a usb a to c cable. my tv and computer have usb ports so not a big deal. The case is made out of metal and feels sturdy. I did have to send back the first one due to some discoloration on my screen. The second one works fine.I am a part of the vine program on amazon so.I was provided this 8k switch for free. The only thing asked of me was to give the product a review on amazon.These opinions are mine and not influenced by anyone else.

This device works as stated. I connected a PS5, a cable box and a computer in the input. The switch was able to display 4K at 60hz. I don't have a 8K TV to test 8K.You can switch the sources with the top button or the remote.The remote is very simple, it has 4 buttons, one per input.You get in the box the switch, a USB-C cable, a remote control receiver extender, a remote control and a manual. You don't get a power supply, which is fine for me because I have some spares, less electronic waste.Now the problem for me is that the output is in the front. If you see in the picture is very inconvenient in my setup. My previous switch had all the inputs/output in the back. Now my option would be hiding everything beside the furniture or the TV, use the IR extender and manage it with the remote control, for which I loose the top button and won't see the leds.The overall quality is good, no complains.
