I have multiple pairs of drawstring sweatpants. Some have lost their tips and the drawstring retracts into the waistband in the wash, which is annoying. This attaches to the drawstring and stops that from happening, but just as important, I can use this to cinch the drawtrings tight while wearing the pants without having to tie the strings together into a knot. So far, these are doing the job and hopefully they'll survive a few trips through the wash.Do note that you will need two of these for each pair of sweatpants -- one for each string.
