I think this is something to always have on hand no matter what! You never know when things may go wrong ? I have to be honest , I have not used it yet, and will update once I do, but so far it looks great and has everything you need ! Saves you money from calling a plumber in some cases! I think it’s worth the buy :)

Very easy to use to clear clogged shower drain. Good value for the money.

Nice complete set of tools to clear a drain, even including gloves. Housing is made of ABS plastic, not sure that matters much in household use. Great tool to have around the house in case you need it and you probably will in the future.

First off, just use your common sense because the instructions that come with this aren't useful. The product itself is good quality. Easy to use, self explanatory. And pulls up some super disgusting clogs.Really only good for larger drains because of the thickness of the end.Overall it does its job.

The Ginbel Direct Drain Snake worked well when I needed to clear a sink drain. The only issue I had was the clearance where the thumb screw that secures the snake passes the front handle was small enough that I pinched my finger as I started to rotate it, but I just moved my hand away further down the handle and continued without issue. The accessories it came with weren't as nice as the main unit. The orange hair clog hooks were bent and kinked. The retrieval tool didn't close completely before retracting so it would not work for small items. The gloves were stretchy but didn't have long enough fingers for my size L hands. The storage bag was very thin and had odd backpack-style placement.Either way, the price is competitive and the drain is clear, so overall still a win.

This drawing snake worked well for the first ten feet as I was attempting to unclog a shower drain. Unfortunately the coil is not as strong as it needs to be and while spinning the coil to continue down the pipe the coil bound up (twisting around itself) leaving a permanent bend in the coil. I can no longer push the coil further into the pipe than this bend point as it is no longer rigid and will immediately twist around itself... Had high hopes and expectations as the unit seemed sturdy our of the box. The plastic hair puller and grabber function well for their intended purposes but quality is lacking so I doubt they will hold up for any lengthy period of time either.

I got the "privilege" of using this whole set in one day. Between the wife and the oldest kid, our drains are perpetually clogged. I'm guilty too though, some of my beard goes down the drain when I shave. Anyway, this little set fixed the shower, sink, and a basement trap in an hour or two.The orange strips are perfect for getting hair clogs out of sinks, super fast and easy. While I was fishing around down there I could hear something metal rattling around. Stuck the grabber down there and my youngest had apparently dropped a key to toy handcuffs down there. Took a couple of tries but the grabber got it out, saved me from having to clean out the cabinet and remove the pipe. The auger worked on the shower drain just as expected, enough hair down there to make a wig. It also got down into the trap in the basement. I'll spare you the details but I'll say that I'm SO glad this set came with gloves and that it worked perfectly. The bag is a nice way to keep in all together but somehow seems... gross to me? I don't know, I'd rather these things be hosed off and just air dry outside.

These are tools you hope to never need, but they are good ho have ready. The kit consists of several parts as described:The black auger body is fully enclosed, but can be opened by loosening a few screws, e.g. for cleaning. It looks well made. It is fully hand operated. The long grabber is actually quite stiff and the spring tension is very high. It requires quite a bit of force to open it. Initially, I thought it was jammed, but we just need to compress the grip hard. This also means that it will grab well onto anything we need to remove. The orange hairball removers are OK, but it is a bit hard to remove the hair stuck to them after use. Some scissors will help.Included is a set of rubberized gloves. These are very comfortable and could even be used to eg. open a jar because they don't slip. The storage bag does not seem very useful, I'll probably keep everything in the box. There are absolutely no instructions included but everything is quite self explanatory. If in doubt, we can get detailed instructions on the Amazon product site.Overall, a nice set of tool for any smaller drain issues. Much cheaper than calling a plumber even once.
