These sandals fit nicely. They fit well. Look nice. However, the quality seems a little on the low end. Was hoping for a little bit better.

A perfect fit for my normally size US9 Wideshoe fit.These sandals are made of molded EVA material. These fit exactly as expected, and they're light on the feet without feeling flimsy. The treads grip well, giving me solid footing wherever I go.The heel strap is well done - just pull to open, slide in, and you're set. It stays put without any fiddling around, which is exactly what you want.Best part? No more stopping every few minutes to shake out rocks. My last pair were like magnets for trail debris, but these keep my feet clear and comfortable.They feel good without socks, and nothing rubs or pinches even on longer walks. The build quality suggests they'll hold up well over time.

These are the plug in hybrid SUV version of sandals. They are much more useful for a variety of weather and road conditions than typical open toed sandals. These will protect your feet better, have better coverage for cooler/damper days, and limit chance of injuries from rocks, tripping, or items falling on your feet.I got them specifically to walk through the street fairs out here which run every weekend rain or shine. The lower tread is fairly smooth but thick and chunky. I don't know if you could really use these for hilly climbs where incline could lead to slipping but for longer walks and daily use, these are perfect and well-rounded. The little touch of beige and orange are nice as well, good stitching and design all around.

I love the toe cap and I will probably never buy an open sandal again because I can walk in the snow and even with the holes on the sides, there is nowhere near the snow problem that I have with open sandals. Someone might think that is crazy, however, coming out of the gym, I feel like I am on fire and all I want to do is feel the cold air all over me, my feet are definitely tired and just want to spread out and breathe! These sandals are supportive, comfortable right out of the box, and I could put them on without even releasing the velcro! Yes, it is easier to release the velcro as the elastic laces stretch well enough that once you put the velcro back together, it will be like you never took them off. Nevertheless, I wanted to try that because it is also nice to be able to slip on the shoes without a hassle and just go. The shape of the footbed is supportive, yes, however, I really like that my foot can spread out without wiggling about, it is like there's the perfect amount of room side to side. The size 9/42 --which is what I wear in Vasque Sundowners as a reference-- is a little longer than I would like but that worked out as well because there is some extra protection, my toes are not right against the toe cap and my heel is not about to fall out the back. Might not seem like much but a spiny plant can stick your heel if you are just on the edge and slip lasted shoes bend where you need them to bend anyway so the extra length wasn't an issue at all nor has it become one after a time. The sole surprised me because it didn't look like it would have much traction, however, I walked over ice without even altering how I walked, that whole pigeon shuffle one does while walking on ice was not needed at all. Best of all, when I got home, the sole was free from the snow and the dirt that my normal footwear, lugged boots, brings everywhere.For some people, the smell of plastics is problematic even if the plastic itself isn't and there was no smell when I opened the box. On the other hand, it is winter and that is not the same as the hot summer sun in the back of a UPS truck. Still, I didn't get a whiff and that is something.If you need sandals, believe me, the toe cap really helps. These sandals have been and continue to be a great value for the money because, for not a lot of money, they do an awful lot really well. This is still a sandal, do not confuse it with a running shoe because it is not that. Maybe, someone really biomechanically efficient could run in them well, however, for the rest of us, they are meant for walking. As to WHERE you walk, if I could take them in the snow and ice and not fall on my butt... I enjoy the cold, my feet were very comfortable, others might want to wear a GoreTex bootie with the sandals if they are going to wear them in winter, however, the sandals did do well on the ice and, like I said, the snow was far, far less of an issue with the toe cap. Normally, when it comes to shoes, I like things that can be resoled and a dog cannot bite through the leather, however, with sandals, that isn't really an option. These sandals are both, solid and comfortable, they breathe well and leave money in your pocket after the purchase, it can hardly be a better deal.
