Having it cordless makes crafting much easier but since the battery only lasts about 30 minutes, and charging time is roughly 2 hours it can take a while to finish a long project. I did like the super short heat up time however, my old one took over 5 minutes to heat up, this is ready to go in the 15 seconds that is says

Love Dremel, I own a few products. But this is a game changer. If you have used a glue gun before, you know how you have to put it down perfect, make sure the cord doesn't pull it over and create a mess and how you have to get the right angle to avoid the cord from getting in your way. Not with this. Sure it's a little longer than a typical plug in glue gun, but not to where it will effect your work.Biggest benefit ‐ take the glue pen to your project, not the other way around.Example, have you ever had a holiday decoration and something fell off? Now you can leave it there, grab the Dremel and in minutes it's fixed. Love it.

I purchased this and paid more than average based on good reviews. I do not like it and find it difficult to use. The mini glue sticks are not held in place and drop out the back if you point the glue tip north. The glue sticks do not automatically feed but rather you have to push on them until they are completely enclosed in the pen. I love the size but not the functionality. Just ordered another brand with 4.3 reviews over 6,000+ reviews.

I just purchased my second glue gun. I love this glue gun. Out of the 10 I own, this is my daily favorite. When I misplaced my first one, I chose to purchase a second rather than use another.It heats up extremely quickly and is very precise about the amount of glue dispensed. The best part is that there is no messy dripping glue after use.The charge also lasts an extremely long time. After being out for a month, I picked it up to use again, and it was still fully charged.I highly recommend this glue gun. I wish I had found it before I wasted money on so many others.

So after crashing a few RC foam planes and having to use packing tape to fix them to fly more, sometimes you can't use packaging tape to remount your motor to nose of a cub. Watching friends using generators or finding the nearest wall outlet (in a public park), I figured i need something cordless. Saw the dremel and was not sure if it would be good enough for that type of work but the claim for the warm up time and portability was enticing. Luckily enough i didn't have to use it on my plane but a friend snapped his Aeroscout in half at the fuselage back and asked to borrow my dremel. He repaired it and got it back in the air fusing two parts of the fuselage back together. I'm impressed. Battery life however is about an hour + but hey it can make the difference in your day if you don't have a power source around for a regular hot glue gun. BTW you use it like a pen and it's way easier than a regular gun style.
