One star off because the surface of the large tray is not smooth (haven't used the little ones yet). It has marks from the shaping mold (little squares, indents and lines) and small things, like beads or glitter, get caught on them. A lot of extra tapping or tilting is required to get them moving. Had a similar tray for years (different brand) and it had very smooth surface. Nothing ever got stuck cuz there was nothing to stick to. Broke it the last time I dropped it and was looking for a replacement. Will keep this tray and use for holding small stuff while crafting but will keep looking for one like my old one.

The point of this is to collect glitter and embossing powders to then funnel back into it's original container. The bottom of this tray isn't flat. It has seams from the plastic making process. Glitter doesn't smoothly slide across it back into the container. I thought it was a manufacturing mistake so I ordered a second to see if it was just one that was made incorrectly. They are both exactly the same. It isn't a defect, it is how they are made.

Perfect for containing sprinkles when decorating cake pops and pretzels, and pouring back into bottles so none are wasted! A must have for cake baker and decorators!
