I bought this because I needed collets for my Ryobi spiral cut drywall router because Ryobi doesn't provide a 5/32 collet when you buy it. This kit says that it will fit a dewalt cutout tool and I have no doubts that it will. The collets also fit my Ryobi which is what I hoped for. The nut is a little too small for my Ryobi but I don't care because I wasn't counting on it anyway.. Cheaper than OEM or Rotozip (tm) so I am happy

I have a generic cordless rotary saw made to be compatible with DeWalt batteries and accessories. I got this set specifically to use a larger range of inserts with that tool. The nut does not fit that tool, which is too bad because the nut is pretty nice. I was far more interested in the collets, though. The one collet included with my tool has an outside diameter of 9mm. The collets in this set have an outside diameter of 11/32in, which is about one quarter of a millimeter smaller. These collets engage nicely with the existing nut on the tool and hold onto different bits and inserts very firmly after tightening.
