It's an adjustable fit and it works well in my grill. You do have to assemble it and adjust it, but it's pretty straightforward to figure out. I don't think the material is any better quality than the factory grey metal so I wouldn't expect any better durability out of it.

This thing is better quality than what came with the Walmart expert grill. I had hard time buying this for the price when I only paid $100 for the grill at the end of the season. But, it's a scrappy Walmart grill for a reason. The pit boss does the heavy work during the summer. Totally recommend if you need a replacement.
