How To Change Drive Belt?

1. Before replacing the belt, be sure to turn off the power and remove the protective cover, tighten the motor assembly bolts, move the motor to loosen the belt and remove the old belt. During this process, it is important to take care not to pry open the belt, because if the belt has been excessively worn, then it may mean that there is a problem with the design and maintenance of the transmission.

2. Before replacing the belt, the belt and pulley must be cleaned. Wash the belt with warm, soapy water and air dry with a clean cloth. The belt must be kept clean before installation and use. Also, be sure to avoid using sandpaper or sharp objects to clean oil dirt, as this can cause damage to the belt or pulley.

3. Before replacing the belt, check all relevant transmission components to ensure that they are linear symmetric and fit well with other components. This is crucial as it ensures smooth operation of the belt throughout the system and reduces unnecessary friction and wear.

4. In the running-in period, a series of measures should be taken to ensure that the transmission belt operates within the normal working range. Change the speed and engine speed to adjust the belt to the new operating conditions and avoid exceeding 3/4 throttle for the first 30 miles. In addition, the engine should be stopped every 15 minutes and the belt should be allowed to cool for a period of time to ensure that it is sufficiently cooled and reduce the risk of thermal deformation. These steps are essential to ensure the proper operation of the belt and extend its service life.

Just bought and installed this belt. A bit skeptical based upon other reviews. Looks as good as the OEM one that came off, maybe a tad better visually. Will repost if an issue but has been on for a week. I will say it does squeal a little bit at idle. Nothing too over the top. Perhaps related to belt break in period? Wondering if bad reviews were due to improper installation, bad clutch pulleys or just not following proper break in protocols?

Said it fit my machine an went on alright. Only worked or a few rides before it shreded itself suddenly in the middle bbn of nowhere thankfully i had the old one and the tools needed to swap them out but maybe worked for a few hours before letting go

I compared it to the current belt and it looks like its the same. I plan on having this as a spare in case I break the current one on a run.The material looks to be strong and on-par with what I have in the Rzr 800 now.
