It’s currently winter, so I won’t be using it yet, but I opened it up, and it will last compared to the overly expensive one that was wooden we bought from Amazon last summer.

I love how sturdy, light and outdoor friendly this corn hole set is. Great for family, beach and camping adventures. Just know if you are looking for a serious regulation set this is not it. There is a pretty good bounce factor due to the plastic and airspace acting somewhat like a trampoline to a lobbed bag. For us we do not mind as much but many would be bothered by it. Enjoy!

I've had a 2X3 mini cornhole set for awhile now, and find that I enjoy the game enough to now go to a regulation size set. I also like the idea of not having to always worry about making sure I put it away every single time, due to precipitation concerns. So, I figured this regulation, plastic set would be what I needed.The set is boxed in a cardboard box with no extra protection, so any rough handling or accidental dropping onto the corners will most likely result in damages. Mine had one corner slightly dented in, but I didn't feel it was that big of a deal.Compared to a good quality regulation set, this plastic set is probably half the weight. However, unless you have very long arms, it could be a bit troublesome to carry. I solved this by drilling and installing rope handles one sides of each board. I've had no issues with the legs, like other reviewers, but I can see that you would want to be on the gentle side when they are deployed. You would not want to bear any body weight on it.If you're used to playing on a good quality board, you will have to adjust your technique for this board. It is a very slick surface, and there is significant bounce due to the hollowness. Changing to bags with a sticky side will help, otherwise you will need to throw with a very high trajectory if using the included bags. The included bags are regulation size and weight, and are of decent quality.Another issue for some, will be the loudness factor. This is also a result of the hollow cavity. Your neighbors will definitely know when you're playing cornhole with these boards.I now own a pro quality solid wood cornhole set, but I still enjoy using this set for when conditions are damp, for going to the beach, and for taking it to other peoples' parties.

We have friends with some wood cornhole games and they really have to take care of them and make sure to bring them in if its raining. After a long night of drinking in back yard and such the last thing i want to do at midnight is pack up cornhole, so this set is nice you can just leave it be. It also does have a plug in the back to fill the board with water we just havent done it yet since it works fine without.

This game broke during the first use. The plastic is very thin and the back legs will not hold the board in place without buckling and laying flat on the ground. The notches that are meant to hold the feet in place do not work and will leave the board flat on the ground.

January 2019:It’s still alive.Forget the shed, I store it under the deck out of sunlight but it sees all 4 seasons.It gets pressure washed before every BBQ season, so my nieces and nephews can come over and jump on it and pop the stand legs off...I pop them back in and get back to rocking.Cool part: Every year we get someone telling us “real cornhole games use wood and...” then about a year or two later they are asking for the url.So I hope they find this review too :)Thanks for reading my review and the update.October 2012 - UPDATE:No more parties this year so the game is in the shed for now. It's held up well and we will be going into next year with the same parts all in working order. I have come to appreciate even more that that bags are stored under the stand portion, that's great and makes it easy enough the older kids can clean it up without much drama. Also when the stands are on end facing the opposite direction, you can wrap a larger bungee around them and they just become a big block in the corner of the garage/shed etc. Also, If you manage to get the boards dirty and Fantastic doesn't work well, try patio furniture cleaner.So 6 months later and still pleased, would definitely buy these again.May 2012 - Original review below:The Corn Toss game has become a staple at all of our parties, so when I found an all weather version made by a quality USA company I was all but sold. Not because I could play outside in a monsoon, but because I could leave it outside for a weekend without concern of the weather and I figured it would be easy to clean.So far it has lived up to these ideals. The nice extra is due to its weather-resistant properties, I now have a beach game that I don't need to worry about chasing away any flying or bouncing parts from.I should mention that this set is a replacement for a set (from a big box store) which got a little wet from some unexpected rain and "fell out of shape" literally. Sad as we owned that one less than a year and paid almost as much. My 30 second inspection of the slightly more costly Driveway Games version is that we will have it significantly longer.So, the experience: from the get go, the experience is good. The box is labeled clearly and there are no mysteries to whats inside. You open the box and there are (2) big solid poly boards with legs attached, a couple pieces of styrofoam holding everything in place, and (4) of each color bean bag (red and blue) bearing the corn toss namesake. There are instructions, but I can summarize them here: flip the legs out on the boards, place them N paces apart, and get to throwing. My 7 year old niece pretty much took over the show once they were opened, so a complex operation this is not.My biggest concern with this was tossing the bags and how they would react, slide, or if the boards would be bouncy because they weren't made of a dense wood. That concern was eliminated with the first toss, they are fine. The nice part about the light colored plastic I found is when the sun starts to fade the boards are still easy to see until the sun is almost gone. Looks like they also make a night time light kit for them, but I haven't given that a shot yet.Overall the weight + construction of these is about what I hoped for when I clicked the buy button. The bags are also decent quality. We only have one weekend on the whole setup but the feeling overall is just sturdier (not heavier, just more well made) than ones I have used in the past. I'm glad I bought this set and would do it again now knowing what I know.The price is a little more than most - but buying the right stuff the first time is always cheaper than buying the wrong one twice. Hopefully this review has helped with that.
